States Logistics Services Inc. DC Powered by 100% Renewable Electricity
“On our ever growing effort to become more sustainable,
decrease our carbon footprint and minimize our environmental impact States
Logistics Services, Inc. is proud to announce that one of our DC’s in southern
California was powered by 100% renewable electricity in 2012 and 2013. Nearly
50% of the electricity used at the facility was generated by 34,000 square feet
of solar panels on the facility’s roof. States Logistics also purchased Green-e
certified wind Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) for the balance of green
electricity for the facility.
